Managing Your Chats

Your chats are listed in the sidebar. Each chat has a ⋯ menu with three actions:
Action | What it does |
|---|---|
Pin / Unpin | Keeps the chat at the top of your chat list, or returns it to its normal position. |
Rename | Changes the chat's title in your chat list. |
Delete | Removes the chat from your history. |
These actions are available in every space and only affect your own chat list.
To open the chat menu: in the sidebar, hover over a chat and select ⋯.
Pin or unpin a chat
Open the chat's ⋯ menu.
Select Pin or Unpin.
A pinned chat stays at the top of your chat list, even as you start new chats. An unpinned chat returns to its normal position in your history. Pins are personal: only you see which chats you pinned.
Note that pinned chats also gets deleted after the retention time set by your company.
Rename a chat
Open the chat's ⋯ menu.
Select Rename.
Enter the new name.
The new name appears in your chat list.
Delete a chat
Open the chat's ⋯ menu.
Select Delete.
The chat is removed from your history. Any share links created for it stop working (see Shared Chats).
