Configuring an Agentic Table Space

Draft branch. Parent page. The tutorials under this page are the procedures. This page is the map of what you are configuring and why.

Overview

Configuring an Agentic Table space means deciding how questions get in, how answers get written, and how people review the result. You do this in Space Management when you create or edit the space.

There are three ways in:

  • Start from a template when the workflow is a standard questionnaire (RFP, DDQ, or a knowledge-base plus answer-library split).

  • Set collaboration when several people review the same sheet and you need assignees, review states, and access rules.

  • Build a custom configuration when the columns, metadata, extraction, or export do not match a template.

A space holds one configuration. You cannot keep two table setups in the same space.

Before the table appears

The Agentic Table interface stays off until Advanced Settings names it. Set both of these:

json
{
  "userInterface": "MAGIC_TABLE",
  "magicTableConfig": {
    "answerLibrary": false
  }
}

answerLibrary is optional. Leave it false until you are ready to store verified answers. The tutorial is under Answer Library.

What you configure next

Limits to plan for

  • Follow-up questions in the table are not available.

  • Each space has one configuration. A second workflow needs a second space.

  • Spreadsheet import depends on question_extraction.mode. The default is LLM extraction, not a direct row copy. See Question Extraction.

  • By default an answer column searches nothing until search_config.scope_ids is set. That topic still needs its own page. See the placement table on Agentic Table Space Overview.
