Drafts and sending from your own mailbox

Everything is a draft

Remy never sends. Every letter it prepares - for an expiring document, a portfolio review, a screening follow-up, a meeting follow-up, an onboarding request - is written into the client's memory and shown on the dashboard. When you are ready, Create draft places it as a draft in your own mailbox. You edit it or not, and you send it. Your sent mail is read on the next overnight run, which is how the open item closes.

Two tones

Each draft comes in two tones - a formal and a warmer register - in the client-communication language your bank has configured. Pick one, adjust, send.

One letter per person per day

If several open items concern the same client on the same day, Remy folds them into one letter rather than writing three. Today's letter for a client is rewritten as findings arrive; you always see the latest.

Marking things done

Tick a card as done on the dashboard once you have sent. The next morning Remy checks your mailbox: if the letter is in Sent Items, the action is closed; if it is still a draft or was deleted, the card comes back. You cannot accidentally close an item by ticking it.

What a letter may and may not say

Every draft follows your bank's letter policy - what can be stated, what must be hedged, what is never put in writing. Compliance edits that policy without a software change. A draft never quotes a figure without its basis and never states a proposed finding as fact.

Drafts landing directly in your mailbox depend on the mail connector's draft capability. Without it, the prepared text is still in the memory and on the dashboard - copy it into a mail yourself.
