Working with a client's memory

2 min read

Every client you cover has a memory: one folder in the knowledge base with a page per topic - identity, KYC and documents, goals, risk, mandate, relationship, commitments, network, matters in flight. Remy builds it from your sources; you complete and correct it. What you state is never overwritten by automation.

Ask

Ask anything about a named client and get an answer with citations - to the memory page and, through it, to the document, mail or record it came from.

  • "What did we promise Anna Meier?"

  • "Who is Robert Smith's attorney?"

  • "Which of my clients have a document expiring this quarter?"

  • "What changed for Maria Rossi since our last meeting?"

Unknown stays unknown - Remy says "no data on file" rather than filling a gap.

Remember and forget

Chat is a source. A fact you state is written to the right topic page, tagged as yours, and survives every later run.

  • "Remember that Anna Meier's daughter starts university in September."

  • "Note that Robert Smith prefers calls before 9am."

  • "Forget what I said about the holiday home." - removed through an explicit, logged path; nothing else can remove it.

Facts mentioned in passing during a chat about a client are captured too, tagged chat-observed, so you do not have to say "remember" every time.

Correct

Open any topic page and edit it directly; the change is logged. Or tell Remy: "the mandate is discretionary, not advisory - correct that". When two sources disagree, Remy asks you to adjudicate rather than letting the newest win, and records your reason.

Confirm or dismiss

Some things Remy writes are proposals - a screening hit, a suitability observation, a suggested relationship in the network. They stay visibly pending until you act:

  • "Confirm the screening finding on Robert Smith." · "Mark that alert as a false positive." · "Escalate it."

What you will never find in a memory

Politics, health, inferred personality, gossip, relatives' finances, tax law - and anything else your bank has excluded. If you state such a thing, Remy will not store it.

The memory belongs to the bank, not to you or to Remy: it is versioned, retained and backed up under the knowledge base's existing rules, and it follows the client if the relationship moves to a colleague.
